Jadi Imaging Technologies Sdn. Bhd. ('Jadi') of Malaysia is pleased to announce the launching of Samsung CLK 500/510/550, the first color toner to be produced by the company.
Developed and formulated in-house by Jadi to meet the rapid growth in demand for color toners, they are produced using the pulverization process. The launching marks a major milestone in the company's history as these are the first color toners to be developed, formulated and produced by the company. More color products will be launched in the coming months, including Samsung CLP 600/650, HP CLJ 1500/2500/2550/2820/2840 and HP CLJ 1600/2600/2605.
Jadi is one of the leading independent toner manufacturers in the world with an established reputation for producing consistently high quality toners. The company commenced manufacturing black copier and printer toners focusing mainly on the aftermarket more than 10 years ago. From a single production line then, the company has expanded rapidly, and today, the company has six production lines with a total annual production capacity of more than 5,000 metric tonnes, with the sixth production line dedicated exclusively to the production of color toners using the pulverization process.
The launching of the color toners is the result of the intensive R & D undertaken by Jadi to develop new products to meet market demand. Anticipating the rapid growth in demand for color toners, the company had commenced R & D on color toners using both the pulverization and the chemical (CPT) process. In conducting its R & D, the company had, among others, focused on the proper selection of color pigments, related compatible toner ingredients and external additives as they are highly critical in determining the quality of color toners. In addition, the company also focused on the processing as the dispersion of color toners is a key factor in determining the overall printing performance. Thus, the company ensures that it produces consistently high quality toners that meet the expectations of its worldwide customers.
Jadi has commenced the production of pulverized color toners as they have become popular and widely accepted lately, especially in the aftermarket. At the same time, it is also conducting R & D to develop its own CPT technology. Although the OEMs have focused on CPT technology, pulverized toner technology has improved and color toners produced using the pulverized toner technology can now achieve a level of quality that is close to those produced using the CPT technology. Jadi is confident that it can capture a larger share of the world's color toner market in the near future with its consistent high quality, wide product range, competitive pricing and established worldwide customer base.
